Coastal Lacrosse Academy is expanding to girls!!! We’ve teamed up with some of the top coaches in the area to help grow the game we love! Emily Ewin will be leading the charge on this expansion as our Girl’s Director. Emily has been in the club game for years now with almost all of her athletes going on to play college lacrosse. She was a scholar athlete herself at Methodist University, earning All Conference honors. Went on to win the Prague Cup with Team USA and has coached both high school and club.
With her we have Taylor (Gooch) Gibbs as the Director of Player Development helping our girls gain the knowledge and skill they need to be successful. Taylor played at Cape Henlopen High School before playing for Temple University! She has since come home and turned the Sussex Academy Women’s Lacrosse program into a top team in the state of Delaware!
We plan to hold true to our original mission when we started this club - growing the game the right way. Developing athletes but more so developing leaders on and off the field. We want to give these girls the opportunity to grow, excel, and reach all of their goals but it takes balance. Emily and Taylor have the experience and knowledge to lead this expansion and take our girls to the next level!
Final Tryout will be August 21 from 2-4pm at Sand Hill Fields.
